Stockholm is the centre for Scandinavian venture capital, and Seed Forum Stockholm is presenting companies from all the Scandinavian Countries and from the Baltic Region as well.

The 1st Seed Forum Stockholm was conducted autumn 2005 in the auditorium of the previous headquarters of the Iqube Innovation Centre in Norrlandsgatan 31. Other venues for Seed Forum Stockholm has been Moderna Museet at Skeppsholmen (spring 2006), Kaupthing Bank at Stureplan (autumn 2006 and spring 2007), Berns Salonger (autumn 2007) and Hotel Scandic Anglais (spring 2008). Since spring 2009  Seed Forum Stockholm has been hosted by DnBNOR in the bank headquarters in Kungsgatan 18.

Most of the evening receptions after Seed Forum Stockholm has been hosted by UKTI (the United Kingdom Trade & Investment) in the British Embassy in Diploamatstaden, but the Ambassador of Norway and the law firm DLA Nordic has also been hosts of evening receptions in Stockholm.

Seed Forum will from autumn 2010 also be hosting a local Seed Forum in Stockholm for Stockholm based companies, so that the amount of forums in Stockholm will be increased from 2 to 4 from autumn per year.

The first Seed Forum International pitch training in Stockholm took place spring 2009 hosted by the DLA Nordic in their conference centre in the Swedish headquarters in Kungsgatan 9. So far more than 100 companies has presented in Seed Forum Stockholm.
