SEED FORUM IN FINLAND

The first Seed Forum Helsinki was conducted spring 2006, and the 2 first investor forums in Helsinki in 2006 was carried out in cooperation with FINPRO and hosted in the FINPRO headquarters in Helsinki. The 2 forums in Helsinki in 2007 and spring 2008 was carried out in cooperation with Technopolis Venture as a special edition of “Money Talks Forums”. The forums in 2007 and spring 2008 was conducted in the Inopoli 2 Science Park in Espoo.

The evening receptions after Seed Forum in Helsinki spring 2006, in 2007 and spring 2008 was kindly hosted by the United Kingdom Trade and Investment in the British Embassy in Helsinki. The evening reception after Seed Forum Helsinki autumn 2006 was kindly hosted by the Norwegian Ambassador in His Residence. The first Finnish company participated in the Seed Forum London spring 2005, and many Finnish companies has so far participated in the Seed Forum process in many Seed Forum destinations.

Seed Forum International Foundation has currently taken the initiative to establish a Seed Forum Finland not-for-profit foundation which will be responsible for all Seed Forum activities in Finland.  A first Seed Forum International pitch training will be conducted for Finnish companies in Helsinki autumn 2010.
